Website Cookies
Website Cookies are snippets of code which are downloaded to a website visitor’s computer. The cookies are designed to observe or gather information and transmit it back to the site. Users can, by setting their browser’s preferences appropriately, prevent Cookies from being installed. In such cases, the website being visited may or may not work properly, depending on the reason the cookie exists and the type of data it was supposed to transmit to its host site.
There are generally two types of Cookie:
1st Party Cookies are those placed by the site you are currently visiting, and 3rd Party Cookies are those placed by a site other than the one you are currently visiting. 3rd party cookies are used by some Web Analytics and Ad Server sites, and are placed on your machine by the site you are visiting at the time, on behalf of the 3rd party.
