We begin by calculating the cost of acquiring visitors to your site. Enter the number of unique visitors that you plan to attract to your website on an annual basis. Your current number is easy to determine using one of many available web analytics programs, such as the powerful and free Google Analytics.

How many visitors should your site get? To see if your site  is underperforming or outperforming versus the competition, check your Google Analytics account for benchmark statistics from similar websites. You can also use this chart from Marketing Automation provider Hubspot, which gives median traffic for various B2B (and B2C) websites based on their size as determined by number of employees:
