Drip Marketing
Drip Marketing uses emails to perform a series of touches which reach out to a prospect, all designed to nudge him or her to the next stage of the Marketing Life Cycle, or Sales Cycle. Called “drip” because the series of emails acts as a series of drips of water, each one pooling a little more of the effect. The term is a good one, because the effect is also to cultivate or nurture the lead, helping them grow from a cold lead to a hot prospect. Drip Marketing capabilities are part of all good Demand Generation Systems.
