Buying Cycle
The term Buying Cycle is sometime used as a substitute for what was known as the Sales Cycle. The term has come about due to the shift in power from seller to buyer which is caused by the Internet. Before the Internet’s profound impact on marketing and sales, the seller was in control of what was said and sent to prospects. Prospects were obliged to follow the sales cycle as envisaged by the vendor.
