Black-Hat SEO Techniques attempt to trick the search engine into elevating a site’s Page Rank. The tricks involve using hidden text, meaningless phrases using the keywords inserted into the pages, incorrect or misleading meta-tags or meta-data, forging external links from “link-farms,” etc. All this as opposed to White-Hat SEO Techniques, which rely on good Keyword strategies, great website design and amazing content.
